For sale is a terrific vintage, possibly antique Pennsylvania handmade folk art make-do pin cushion that I acquired when I was there recently. The base is a green glass candleholder, I believe, and the the is raw cotton covered with black and white floral calico fabric. There is also a coarse what I think is homespun linen between the calico and the cotton. The make-do measures about 6" tall, 4 1/4" in diameter across the top, and the base is about 4 1/2" in diameter. It is in very nice vintage/antique condition, with no chips or cracks on the base, and no significant issues on the cushion, in fact, showing little if any signs of ever having been used. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a great addition to your collection of vintage/antique sewing items!
