This elegant, crystal clear glass covered dish would make a stunning vanity or dresser box to use for jewelry, trinkets, or refilled with dusting powder or bath salts.
It was made by the L.E. Smith Glass Company, and found in their 1937 inventory, dubbed "My Pets".
Composed of clear glass, the lid design has a central Scottie dog in a "begging" pose, standing on her hind legs, with a seated Scottie flanking her on each side.
The base of this exquisite piece is encircled by a series of "star bursts".
The entire glass jar measures 5" tall x 4 1/2" in diameter x 1 3/4" deep and is in excellent gift-ready condition.
Don't forget our free shipping within the USA. All of our items arrive gift-wrapped in our distinctive "houndstooth" paper!
