This is a vintage print, adhered to the glass, of a child who has been saved from the water by their dog. It is titled "Saved" at the bottom center. At the lower left is "Published by J.I. Austen & Co., Chicago," in business in the early 1900's. At the lower right is the word "Copyright."
It is in a wood frame with brass ornamental attachments at each corner. As mentioned, the print is attached to the glass covering. It has a cardboard backing and a wire piece for hanging.
Size: The frame measures approximately 7 ½ inches tall and 9 ½ inches wide.
Condition: I note some bubbles in the older glass, as well as various scrapes to the gold paint on the frame.
An unusual piece, not seen often.
