I have used colorful Ocean Jasper beads to create this bracelet. The faceted tube shaped beads are alternated with smooth rounds and separated by textured wavy brass oxide spacers. The beads exhibit beautiful earthy colors ranging from yellow, green to grey, white, with splashes of purple and orange. Closure is with a rectangular textured brass-oxide toggle.

Jaspers have been used as ornamental and gemstones from ancient times. They are microcrystalline Quartz in association with a variety of other minerals which give the Jaspers colorful patterns and bands. Jaspers are often named according to its color or patterns. Ocean Jasper is also known as Orbicular Jasper and is found only along the Northwestern coast of Madagascar. As it was first found along the beach and tidal area it was named Ocean Jasper. This Jasper is a colorful mix of Quartz grains and star bursts, often sees as spherical patterns. The large range of color is due to trace minerals and elements.

Guide to sizing Bracelets: Using a measuring tape, measure snugly (not too tight) around the wrist just below the wrist bone. For adults add 3/4th to 1 inch to above measurement to determine the bracelet length. This is the length given below.

Length: 7.25 inches to fit a 6.25 to 6.5 inch wrist.

Beading Wire: 0.19"/49 strand clear-coated stainless steel professional quality beading wire with 14K gold-fill crimps and crimp covers.

Bead size: Jasper Tube beads11 x 13mm; 8 and 10 mm rounds.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
